Turbo Back Exhausts

Based on my last thread about "best exhausts," all I was able to garner from that is REAL performance gains REQUIRE a full turbo-back system.

That being said, it appears the only commercially viable options are:

1. Alta
2. Way Motor Works
3. Revolution Mini Works

I know Adam has been incredibly helpful and vocal about why his system is the best, but I kinda feel like we should give everyone a fair crack.

My goals are NOT causing a CEL fault, nice deep sound (no fart-can tinny sound), followed by maximum performance. Anyone have input on these 3?

WMW and RMW both use 2.5" piping for their systems. I'm sure you've seen the entire debate about 2.5" vs 3.0" in the other thread, so no need to restart that here.

There are soundclips of the WMW on here, and the person that has it really likes it from what I remember. I don't know anyone here that has an RMW yet, because aside from the prototypes, they were not done being made yet. I have seen a prototype in person though and its a real beauty! Knowing the quality of stuff that RMW puts out, I garuntee it doesn't cause a CEL and it probably sounds deep, clean, and agressive.

Thanks Thumper. I just emailed Jan @ RMW to see if they can provide any feedback. Plus, since they are located 30 minutes from my house, I am leaning slightly towards them.

Milltek also has a full turbo-back, and I believe there are a couple others.

I know RMW is working on one, but I don't know if they have released it yet.

As seen in previous threads I have the WMW turbo-back and love it. I also liked the build quality on the Milltek, but it was too loud for me.

I really don't want to get into another vendor skirmish, so PM me if you'd like more info.

I am the first customer with the WMW Turboback other than the tester, and all I can say is AMAZING...It took my reg. MCS and turned it into something I only imagined...I prefer to drive my car now more than my Dad's '08 stage 1 JCW....The torque that it has added is just unreal...I also have posted the sound clip around, again not BEST quality but it hits the spot....100% stand behind WMW and recommend for the motor'er who wants to have a tighter drive, a quicker step of the line, and someone who likes to be heard coming down the street. Not to mention Way backs everything he does, keep it up Way

RMW has not even produced a prototype yet. Jan claims it will be next week, but I heard that about 1 month ago. Still crossing my fingers.

BTW, is is Jan as in the sister from the brady bunch, or yan like a european guys name?

They have produced a prototype...I've seen it in person. There is a thread about it here, probably a few pages back.

Also, there was one car that had the complete system, but was totalled in an accident. I'm excited to hear it when they get the system bent, it looks like a real winner!

I think you are asking how Jan's name is pronounced? It's Jan, with a J sound, like John, Jack, Jim, etc. LOL.

I made a video using a dash cam, but there is so much static, im guessing from the slight movement of the camera mounted to the windshield bc windows were up, so i will work on getting that taken care of and try to get a new one done and put up here when possible, otherwise just come to Indianapolis
