You mean like this?

You might want to try to get a replacement under warranty from Milltek. If not, just weld a pipe in there - that's what I did. I will weld in a Hushpower resonator when I get the chance, though. With a header and without the resonator this thing is LOUD.

My camera is out of batteries, I'll post the inside in the afternoon. However, there's really not much to see other than the baffle. What rattles is the fiberglass between the outer shell and the baffle, which melted into beads from the heat. If I cut this thing up i'll put up a picture, but I don't plan on cutting it up anytime soon.

Loud? Loudness is relative, but yes, I consider it very loud. Car alarms complain when I pass them by in multi-level parking lots, not even revving the car. Keep in mind I also have an aftermarket header, which did increase exhaust noise substantially versus the stocker. Before removing the resonator I did not have a significant or bothersome drone. Now it drones like a muth$%^^*+r. I would have already installed the Hushpower resonator if it wasn't for the beautiful music at WOT, that's a major plus but, again, it is LOUD.

If I didn't have to put my kids though this every couple of days I would keep it like it is, but even trying to keep it as low as possible when they are in the car it drones, so the new resonator will be installed soon.

I will try to upload a video clip from the latest track day to give you an idea.

I've blown out both cats and resonators with the milltek. It's a fairly well-known issue.

Did warranty replace them??? or you had to fork out some good dough to get a new one

Outmotoring replaced them - again, it's a fairly common problem with both the header and the resonator.

Sorry to get off-topic a bit, but does anyone know if this is also an issue with Magnaflow? I have an ALTA header and Magna cat-back, and my exhaust has been rattling for a while now. It's very annoying, but it doesn't sound like the res. It sounds like someone is hitting the exhaust against the tunnel. Any ideas?

Sorry to get off-topic.

I was suspecting the two bolts, or possibly the exhaust itself was hitting the shielding.... I guess I'll have to figure something out. Hrmm.
