psi problem

I just had a quick question that is probably not a quick answer. My car under normal conditions should be running 15psi with my mods. It has been running 15 psi the whole time since ive had it tuned, but a few weeks ago i saw that my car was only running 8psi. I know elevation has a little factor in that, but i should still be running around 12psi where i live. So where has the other 4psi went? Any help and advise would be greatly appreciated.:tu:

Some background would help. Did you change anything on the car before this happened? Does the car feel really sluggish now? What's done, what year is your car, etc.

Check the hose(s) to your boost gauge?

Bypass valve took a crapper? Other vacuum leak? Are you pulling as much vacuum as you used to in non-boost situations, like at idle or off-throttle?

How are the intercooler boots? Is the belt tensioner leaking from its damper?

Superchargers wear down. From what I've read on here their lifetime is an expected 100k miles. Adding a pulley may have reduced the lifetime of it.

As it ages it will become less efficient.

Just a thought

Does the PSI increase linearly as the RPMS increase?
