RMW/MiniCorsa go 267.9whp

up another 6whp and 7ft lbs of torque from the last dyno

notice the torque curve of 203.7 -205.7 ft lbs of torque for 1800rpms

over 190ft lbs of torque for 3840 rpms!

when you compare this to a car with a stock header we typically see a PEAK tq number for about 200rpms. This means the RMW car is accelerating away much faster than a comparable car. In a highly modified car with other header types you will typically see about 1000rpm range. This area under the curve is what really excels. People look at peak numbers and miss what is really going on with the car. It's evident on the track as these cars just pull away from the competition. I will post the stroker car against Danny's beast to give you a taste of MORE area UNDER THE CURVE

Here is what the stroker does to the most powerful M45 Mini that we know of. We have heard a lot of "talk" lately about how fast certain cars are. Don't be fooled by the hype.... we back up our talk with the walk.

2 Lucky people got to drive the GP this last weekend at AMVIV..... both looked a little shakey after the drive You can't believe the throttle response and acceleration

as you can see, it has 27.4 more peak torque and 25.7 more hp @ 5,000rpms than the 1.6L. Try overlaying your graph against those cars.

I would love to see the power curve of SPF's car against the stroker. Get an idea of what skill can do versus HP.

This is great stuff Jan.

I doubt the Van Nuys area knows what its in for.

Paul.... great point

I will get SPF's file next week at the dyno and overlay it....
If I remember correctly it's about 28whp and 45ft lbs of torque

Nearly 40ft lb at 3000 is the most impressive number to me, when I get to drop the clutch at 7000 on slicks that sucker is going to run mid 1.8s 60ft

to some 40ft lbs is just a number.... to a racer.... it's nirvana

that is indeed a lot of power considering the parasitic drag of the m45. nice work. did you pick up that last little bit in tuning or new hardware?

Indeed, he's had an LSD sitting at the shop for weeks for his car. He was actually considering paying a neighboring shop to put it in cause he hasn't had time.

I mean the comment stands for both... i think they are both pretty nuts. TBH i haven't even really been able to follow the progression of your stroker car... the numbers and results from that car made my head start spinning long ago... ie once you're beyond a certain amount of tq does any more do the numbers even mater.

danny's car is what's impressive to me. Don't get me wrong the stroker is nice.... but danny's car is still cramming that power out of 1.6 litres... Considering the hp per liter... it's up there with cars that are in a totally different ballgame. It just proves that this little tritec is something to marvel at with the right guys building it up.

edit: lol just looked the numbers again... danny's car makes what mine car makes max at 2700-2800 and never drops below. haha.

mine was a pulley and tune
danny's was just tuning

it's truly amazing what can be done. Most won't know what to do with the power the stroker has. In the right hands it's an amazingly quick car. It's such a joy to drive. I know 2 people drove it at AMVIV and the look on their faces was priceless

I know people talk about their cars but this stroker is on another level of driveability and fun. I know the power it unleashes with the turbo on it, I guess there will be someone soon enough to do a street stroker.

I can tell you at 13psi of boost it made 356whp and 308 ft lbs of torque!

Ok, I can't take it anymore reading this thread. I know price has yet to be disclosed, but can we get a teaser, initial, guesstimate ballpark figure/estimate? My brain is hemorrhaging just thinking about price and I'd like to know if my wallet will be able to handle the price tag...

Price for what? The W2A IC is still in the initial testing, but should be around 2100+ install. Other than that all Danny has on his car is a Pulley, Intake, RMW Head, Tune and Full Head-Back Exhaust. Jan/Danny let me know if I'm missing anything?

It's just some more Jan voodoo magic.

RMW, Doing the Unpossible since what, 2003? .
