Drivetrain 320WHP with M45 no turbo or NOS!!

Okay, MiniMan - I'm confused. Just yesterday, you started another thread asking for information/opinions on the various DFI, DJI and DPI systems on the market.
Later that same day, you start this thread crowing about 320 WHP, and today you promise drag strip results in three weeks.
So, have the mods even been done yet or not? Considering you were still soliciting opinions yesterday on which system to go with, I suspect not.
And if not, where did the 320 WHP number come from, if not out of someone's butt (which is what I suspect)?
And if it's not built yet, what do you think your odds are of successfully installing and tuning a DFI/JI/SPI system in a MINI in three weeks (considering that most of those systems are pretty home-brew and require a LOT of tweaking/customization just to get them working, much less optimized.)

You can't waltz in here and claim to have a M45-only setup that puts out more than double the stock horsepower without expecting some incredulity from the other members.
You're either full of crap, or you've managed to surpass everyone else's best efforts by a pretty wide margin (including people/companies that tune and race MINIs for a living).

Pretty much anyone that is like "I easily broke every record by a healthy margin, but forgot to get a printout of the dyno sheet because it didn't seem important at the time" is making it all up.
May I call attention to the similar "205hp Passat" thread from the Vortex. Also someone who blew everyone else out of the water, despite being new, and would get proof just as soon as some things came together...

For someone to post 300whp + numbers with a M45 on a 1.6L car with no proof is quite funny. I know there are a bunch of engineers out there. Take a moment and bust out your calculator and run the max airflow of a M45 and see what you come up with.

Caca by any other name still squishes up betwixt your toes and is still caca. I know when I went to the 15% Alta and the cold air/irridium plugs, etc, I thought I'd quadrupled the ponies under the bonnet, or at least it felt that way...for a few days. It does get up and scoot, and it is damn good fun but given the mods of some others on this forum, and the pure physics of how far you can punch one of these puppies out, increase the supercharger, and remap the electronics, 300+ is simply fantasy...reminds me of this gal...whooops, more fantasy.

Yea, and I bet 90% of us have driven or owned far faster cars than your MINI. Not many people own MINI's because they're fast in a straight line. Your age shows with posts like these. Wooo your car is faster (Still no proof of that) congratulations. You managed to make your car go really fast in a straight line

What you have to remember guys is you never know who is on the other end of the computer, my moto is never say never.
For all we know this person could be the new Jan.
If a Pro Mod car can turn to 10,000rpm and make 2400bhp then.............

And I was just getting use to the old Jan. He was so young, in his prime and on a roll. Oh, well there is always investment banking .
Someone needs to immediately look in on SpiderX (the first to convert to a M45 and subsequently pulled it all off) for if he finds out that he could have had 320 HP, he is not going to take the news very well and GOD only knows what he might do. I hope Bob will be okay

i can't believe this .. i'm reading this as though i were watching a car wreck in slo mo . it's wrong in so many ways yet cool some how . here we are arguing with some ten year old in his dad's den on a computer he got the password to. it's too funny .

since no one has done a DFI tritec, who knows what it's capable of. Not that it's easy or even possible with out a massive budget....
Let's see where it leads... Maybe he's on to something, maybe it's all hype... Time will tell.
