Heard of DFI, it's not some magic box that suddenly improves the VE of the MINI's powerplant, I've never seen DFI applied to a MINI either, given how much of the rest of the car the ECU controls. I'm from close to St. Louis, which is in the show-me state...so show me.

Direct Fuel Injection which is the type of fuel system in the R56 and is what makes that diesel-like clicking sound when running.

Yes, true, he never said anything about the car running for longer than 20 minutes!

All of which could pull the 300+ .. This being Crank HP and not WHP
We could speculate all day, we have no idea. He already said whp, which rules out speculation that he's talking about HP at the crank? Could be a different motor? Could be a lot of things.

The 2.0 stroker motor isn't capable of putting out 320 whp with the M45 on it. Jan pretty much maxed that blower out in the 275 whp range.

Water meth isn't enough of an octane boost to run the timing needed to make 320 whp on a pulleyed MINI.

Whether it is Digital or Direct...I find it hard to be true. As the others stated...not going to happen unless you know something that Jan doesn't...

Post numbers, and a quarter mile video then I will believe you...If you post a quarter mile video there will be no way to disbelieve you...

Hay, here's a recipe...

DFI with 10:5:1 comp ratio (or something like that) and bingo! You've got some massive HP numbers! But putting an M45 on that would be a pure waste of time and effort. Like having a grayhound drag a brick around the track.....

A mini owner going to the dragstrip to prove how much horsepower he has

This is one cool dude in my books, obviously I want him to fail so I can keep my records

Good luck, what dragstrip will you be going to?

I've just been wondering how I would build a 320whp M45 and I think I know now

Why three weeks? Why isn't it ready now? Why do I even care? So far all this guy is is a troll with maybe a dyno queen, congrats on trying to build a FWD Toyota Supra.

Okay, MiniMan - I'm confused. Just yesterday, you started another thread asking for information/opinions on the various DFI, DJI and DPI systems on the market.

Later that same day, you start this thread crowing about 320 WHP, and today you promise drag strip results in three weeks.

So, have the mods even been done yet or not? Considering you were still soliciting opinions yesterday on which system to go with, I suspect not.

And if not, where did the 320 WHP number come from, if not out of someone's butt (which is what I suspect)?

And if it's not built yet, what do you think your odds are of successfully installing and tuning a DFI/JI/SPI system in a MINI in three weeks (considering that most of those systems are pretty home-brew and require a LOT of tweaking/customization just to get them working, much less optimized.)

Keep this kind of talk up and I'll remove your posts and moderate your future posts. Please take a look at the site guidelines.

I came to same conclusion inspector.

MiniMan, don't blame them for asking tough questions or not wanting to play your game. Yes, your playing games with grown men. Look at your sig. You have been a member for a day, don't say where your located and give zero info on your amazing 320whp skunk works project. You can build a 320whp mini yet can't figure out how to post a dyno sheet .
