Help! Good Exhaust shop in Phoenix (East Valley)area?

I want to do the 3" Magnaflow system like several of the posters here, but cannot find a single shop in the valley that does 3" Stainless (or even stainless in general). I must have called about 20 shops. Anyone have any recommendations?

thanks!

Do you really need stainless? Pretty dry here in AZ. You could save a lot of weight if you didn't.

Well...that seems to be the question that most shops are raising. I was thinking about the bling factor (but come to think of it...I really don't spend much time under the car)

I can't even find a shop that does mandrel bending of 3" tubing though...

You might contact http://www.vipcustomparts.com/

I gave him my old exhaust, says he's going to make new 3" ones.
If you hasn't made them yet, maybe he can point you in the right direction.

I want to know the answer to this question too. I will be doing this in April and wanted to know who could do it in Phx.

Apache Muffler in Mesa did my One-Ball on my R53, but theres not a lot to mess up with that. The shop looks super-ghetto, but it was cheap and I've always heard good things about them. Know some Audi people that have gotten exhaust work done by them.

Also, I had Scottsdale Muffler (on Hayden/McKellips) weld in my high flow cat. Again, not much to mess up with that. Seemed like a good shop though. I'll prob check with them when it comes time to do my exhaust.

Or you can try checking with DynoComp or Evolution Motorsports to see if they can recommend a good exhaust shop for you. Let me know what you discover!

Have y'all considered just replacing the muffler and tips? Maybe you have plans for bigger turbos in the future? What is your goal with adding the 3" plumbing?

Well i want the 2nd cat out, so I figure just go bigger while I'm at it. Plus its a little deeper sounding with larger diameter piping. More flow on a turbo is always a plus too.
