Email Dale and he will respond to your question about price. From the email he sent me, it's a no-brainer (very reasonable).

Now I have to deciede what color I want it....hmmmm

Maybe you should make a cheaper one for cars with the Rotrex so they generate more heat.

I'm sure if I "fish" hard enough I will get another self proclaimed "engineer" to tell me how to do it

Is this CAI carb. certified for California? If I had a carb. cert. CAI my car would look stock inside.

I would doubt it, considering the small fortune CARB approval costs.

1fastmini is a distributor. $275. http://www.1fastmini.com/servlet/Car...8&sfs=2d51304c

Along with the other design features, I like that you can order a custom color.

I think he is showing how far the filter extends into the cowl area

I asked because the velocity stack takes up a good bit of space. The Filter actually look smallish. Now this is not a problem but will require more frequent cleaning to maintain optimum performance. AND that leads to it being filter access friendly.

^Yes, I believe that you are correct...but I don't think that the filter is too much smaller...just a bit.

you know they say - size DOES matter .

Very pretty box but I feel there are better overall options out there.
