I'm trying to get Jan to come to H town.

In order to make it happen we will need between 4-6 cars a day, and multiple days can be arranged.

Cost: $350 (includes ECU install and dyno tune) + cost of renting the dyno which will be split between all the attendees.

I definitely want in on this - but the catch for me is that I'll only be able to make a Sunday as I'm a photographer who works almost every Saturday. You can sign me up if we can make a Sunday happen - and I know 2 more people in my area who would definitely be down for this and may chime in on this as well!!!!!

Jan can correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the Dimsport software currently doesn't support the new R56 (07 hardtop in your sig).

 

we currently have tuning ONLY for the R53 and R50/52

To All,
Currently the problem is to find a shop with a Dynapack Dyno.
Why Dynapack?...well according to Jan the Dynapack has the best resolution and resolution is key to get the most HP out of the tune...especially in low HP cars like the Mini.
There was the 1 shop but they wanted insane money...$ 1,750.00 for the day!!!.
That being said, we need to find a Dynapack first...everything else are details that can be worked out after that.
By the way, yes the tune is $350 and not $300.

What about Beverian Hyper Sports?

 

BHS does not have a DynaPack dyno.

 

The only shop in Houston with a DynaPack is SPG Racing http://www.sgpracing.com/ I contacted them about doing a date and was quoted $1750 a day for the dyno. Thats for 8 hrs. anything over would be billed at $225 hr. Those are INSANE rates for Dyno time. At a shop that thinks very highly of its self in Dallas they only charge $150 hr and I'm working on a possible tune at a shop in New Braunfels (sp) where the rate is a more reasonable $125 hr.

 

New Braunfels would be awesome for me!
