Missed Randy's SpCal Pully Party. Anyone know of any reliable place where I can have pully installed in the LA area? Also, (I am new at this) is there a danger to damaging the engine and/or the supercharger by replacing the pully but without cahnging the programing of the ECU?

As far as the install goes I have no idea, I'm in NE FL.

Damage is not a problem as many have had them on for 1000s of miles with no trouble.

A related question:
Does anyone, Randy, have any info on places that Randy sponsers or approves of to send the s/c w/ pulley to to be fitted, other than his shop?

Thanks

If can wait I think Randy might be back early next year. CHeck with Randy.
Also check with the shop in San Deigo where the "pulley party" was held.

I do not think the ECU will be a problem... I think it might be you.
I found that I am "ON IT" more 'cuz it is soooo much more fun.

contact Promini; they are setting up shops all over with pulleys and pullers. They have purchased quite a few of the P&D pullers for that purpose.

Try Johnnie's Auto Work in San Pedro, 310-521-0330. Recommended by MiniMania in Nevada City, California.

Thanks for the tip Manoo.

Went to Johnny Auto Clinic in San Pedro, CA yesterday and had MiniMania pully fitted. Can't believe the difference in the drive..... better power off the bat..... almost like diving a different MINI. Johnny is also a great guy who owns a nicely mod all black MINI S. He even gave me the keys to take it for a spin without me asking and told me not to hold back and drive it hard - "the way it's suppose too" (his words).

HAPPY MOTORING

Hey Felix88 did you order the pullry from Mini Mania, and then brought it with you to the shop, or did you purchase it from Johnny's Auto Clinic?

Check out Meridian Automotive Design in Westwood. Awesome guys to work with and they do ECU flashing as well.

Hi Russell88: I am not one to advertise prices. That is up to the establishment... all I can say that it cost much more than than the $400 Randy charges at a pully party. But since I missed the SoCal pully party I went for it..... got to skip a couple of fancy restaurants this month.

Hi Supersulli: I got Johnny to order the pully.... He does not really care who buys the pully - he makes his money from the fitting the pully.
