Try contacting Helix. http://www.helix13.com/mini/products

They sell the OBX header, so they may be able to get a replacement donut gasket.

Good luck. I have been trying to find the right replacement for awhile. Some of them mentioned here did not fit right. I finally decided to change the whole joint to what RMW uses on their header. I am going to hopefully get it installed tomorrow.

Here is the replacement setup I'm going with instead of the spring joint:

Bellows Joint, 2 marman flanges and a V clamp

Wow very nice man. You think that would be better than the little donut gasket? Where did you find it?

I loooove using Vband clamps. I built an exhaust system for my turbocharged mazda using those and they worked perfect for adjusting things and making things NOT leak.

question for you - how do you find the "flex" in that piece. Looks "rigid" but appearances can be deceiving.

It looks like something from home depot used in air conditioning.

Yes it is rigid, but it does have flex. It is the same type that is used in F1 cars so it is very strong.

As far as install goes, there was not enough room to use the flange and V-clamp. What he did was cut the obx flange from the cat side and weld it on the end othe bellow. The other side of bellow was designed to have the piping slide into it so the end of the cat was slid into and welded. He then connected it to the header using the obx flanges and a regular exhaust gasket. Sorry no pics to show as i didn't have my camera there.

if you didn't use those and want to part with them, I could use them for modding my RMW

That should be okay. I am going to see Jan at the track this weekend and he's going to take a look at the install and see if they can't be incorporated. If not then we can do what i payed plus shipping. I would have to look up the exact price, but I think it was $75 for the two flanges and the clamp

Ok....Jan was supposed to get me two flanges...so, if you have them and he didn't pick up the other set, that will be perfect. just let me know (only need the flanges, but can't hurt to have a spare clamp for down the road)
