I'm close to finally getting the pulley, but I'm wondering how many cases there are of people going back?
Also, how has mileage compared before and after? I'd imagine there is a little more parasitic drag from the supercharger running at higher RPMs.

I don't think the 15% pulley is something to think too much about. It is one of the best and safest mods out there. Mileage will be affected based on how you drive after the install, it changes the car so you tend to change your driving style.
With a 15%, I've dropped about 1.5MPG...not bothering me though. My driving habits have changed slightly...I find myself wanting to full on accelerate now, but the times I have reset the gas mileage indicator and driven how I used to, I was getting only about 1MPG less.

I drive 100 miles a day...it's a very fast drive mind you because the traffic is mostly going the other way. I've got a 16% pulley, Alta intake, Invidia Exhaust, and Jan tune. I get about 26mpg. On longer drives with cruise control, I've seen better than 30mpg.
I could do better than 26 if I didn't accelerate so hard in several key areas--I watch my computer drop down to 9mpg when I'm accelerating hard! But the rush is incredible and hard not to! Of course just loosening up on my acceleration, I was doing better on fuel economy.

15%, IMHO, is a no brainer. 19% worries me--in fact I wouldn't even consider it--but 15%, when you factor in bang for the buck, and safety with regard to what it does to the engine--thats easy--just dp it.

YMMV
There are plenty of 19%'ers that would disagree with you. Hasn't this debate been put to bed? The SC reduction pulley is tried and true, no worries. Get what % you want.
The only reason I mentioned it was that I HAVE seen people who have regretted 19% (mainly along the lines of the car squealing like a pig), but I have yet to hear/see a single complaint on a 15% reduction.
Well, I HAVE NOT. Let the guy get whatever % he wants.

As far as the % thing goes, everyone should do all they can to educate themselves as to what increasing boost does. Just ask Mario what adding more boost to an engine tuned to a specific level does without re-tuning it. If your driving is conducive to owning a 19%, 17%, 16%, 15%, 11.4% or 0%,then do it! Just be sure to educate yourself first.
As for the squealing goes, that's possibly from too large of a belt...

He yelled first.
Thats all I'm saying, get what % you want.

I'm tired of people bagging on the 19%. Right belt, no noise. Easy.
As for the OP, do a search, see what people have to say about pulleys and pick what is right for your style of driving. This is a bulletproof, and best bang-for-the-buck mod. Motor on.
