Drivetrain Anyone ever regretted going to a 15% pulley/gone back to stock?

would this be dangerous on a MINI with 67K? and how hard is it to install? there is not much room to mess with the belts under the hood

It's a hard job, no question about it. Took me 3.5 hours I believe going at a steady pace. You have to get special tools for the pulley and belt and to get access to everything you have to jack up the engine.

I installed the 15% Alta V2 pulley last weekend and it is great..I love it. I can't figure out why more people don't do it.

I regret it. Shortly after the pulley I purchased a stratmosphere cat-back exhaust. Now I need to order the DT bypass valve, oil catch can, boost gauge, get it tuned, new wheels, suspension....the list goes on and on. madness I say, pure madness

Great comments guys! I agree this part is a MUST for any R53 Cooper S owner. Like when you buy the car it just comes in the dash owners packet to be installed at home!
