These numbers really don't mean anything unless the baselines are posted also .

I have a stock '03 MCS JCW and I'm anxious to see how it does in the hands of the master next month. I'll post the results as soon as I have them.

The car is an 06 Factory JCW:

Baseline:
HP = 198.1
TQ = 169.0

End result:
HP = 218.1
TQ = 183

Delta at 6k RPM:

HP = 27.8
TQ = 24.3

All that combined with the throttle response tweak resulted in a different car. The power is so more "on demand" now.

Here are my results from Jan's Magic Wand:

Car: '02 MCS with 46k miles
Mods: 15% pulley, ALTA CAI, OBX header, Ryephile cat-back, Helix 380cc injectors, old moldy slipping clutch

Baseline: 177wHP @ 6800 RPM and 162wLb/Ft @ 4300 RPM

After Jan's ECU Tune: 198wHP @ 7200 RPM and 173wLb/Ft @ 4400 RPM

Peak deltas: 20wHP @ 6300 RPM and 13wLb/Ft @ 5400 RPM

Much more linear throttle application, DSC threshold improved [less intrusive], Rev-limiter raised to 7300 RPM [nice-n-soft without being too fluffy].

final numbers during the Helix tunes this week and last.....238hp and 208tq. We didn't get to do a baseline as the head went on before Jan arrived. The first pull was 223hp, with the rest coming through tuning over two days. The final curve is actually smoother than this plot, which has a dip up top.

I still have a front O2 issue to work out, so we'll be doing some more tweaking once I get it fixed (it's throwing codes, probably due to how another shop extended it - I sent Jan the new one and he's doing the work for me and sending it to me to swap in).

RMW Tuned on 1/16 @ Helix.

Base on stock '06 MINI Cooper S

Engine modification:

JCW intake, JCW exhaust, JCW injectors, GP Intercooler, Helix 15% Pulley, IK22 Spark Plugs, Schrick Camshaft (1st Version).

Base Run (JCW Software) Peak @ 202 whp, 183 ft/lb
Last Run (RMW tuned) Peak @ 217 whp, 191 ft/lb

I really like the gained all across the power band though.

Thanks to Jan to help me achieve the goal of making a "Fun Street Car".

Is the subject (RMW tune) mean remapping the ECU only
