Like the title says. I just need to kno where I can buy a tip that has is 90* like this one. Doesn't nessecarily need to be a twin tip like this one but would like to know if you can even buy something like this.I would even be fine with a big single tip.

A muffler place could fabricate it for you, but you'd have to find nice tips on your own, but that wouldn't be hard online. I had a higher end shop build my whole CRX exhaust. I just provided a high-flow cat and a muffler.

a big single tip would actually be really cool. minspeed has a catback w/ a tip like that but it's not the most pretty shape

While its always a matter of personal taste, I've seen the Minspeed oval and pics don't do it justice.

It's a bit expensive....but borla makes beautiful tips. It meets the 2.5"inlet Oval shape that you are looking for.

I have this in my office and it's going on the car next week. I think it's going look and fit great in our center opening. What the pic doesn't show is that they are a little angled like slash cut tips from top to bottom.

Those last two are pretty cool. I was thinking about changing out the stock beer can tips recently on my one ball, but I still need to get in there & measure the pipes with some calipers, they look really small, like 1.5" or so. I really like the idea of a single, big, oval tip like a Boxster.

It could easily be modified to fit a 2.5" pipe. Any good muffler shop could do it. What exhaust are you trying to modify this on to.

I do like the idea of a straighback but ive been lovin' the new rmw system only thing is im partial to single sided systems, know if jan has plans for one?

I am actually going to build my own exhaust system, thats why I was looking for tips. I seen an acura TL today and thought the stock tips on it would look great put together in the center opening of our cars.

I was just wondering, isnt a 2.5" a little large for a 4 banger? they are usually used on 300+ hp v8's.
a 2" would work better for the 4 wouldnt it? providing just the rite amount of back pressure for torque and flow for HP?
These little engines are only making 200 hp. after being hopped uprite?
just wondering.
BTW that magna flow is a great looking tip!

2 1/2" is fine for a single sided exhaust on our 1.6L. Most are 2 1/2" from the header to the Y then 2" or less to the tips from the Y. I have tried a 3" and found the down low TQ loss was to much for me. Once you get a good flowing head 2 1/4" from the Y to the tips is just about perfect for good low end and great top end.

But if you kept the exhaust the same diameter from start to finish the 2.5 would be considered a little to large rite?
I thought that a 2-2.25 would be the max you would want for a driver/part time racer setup.
