Drivetrain Front Intercooler
That sounds nice. Not Lysholm twin screw charger loud, but it's nice!

Why could you not just fab up some enlongated ends to bolt to either side of where the stock cooler is, then use like a 2.5" kit off ebay that has all the angled pieces and piece it together from there? I know theres not alot of room between the inlet and outlet part where the cooler goes, would there even be enough room for intercooler piping to go there?
That stock top mount intercooler is just so wimpy looking, and gets super hot while driving. If you could get the intercooler out of the engine bay, i cant see how it couldnt help....I think the hard part would be the adaptors to go from the long oval inlet and outlets, then open up to like 2.5" intercooler piping. Running the piping would be a job, but alot easier with those prefabbed adaptors...
