Update ..

CRRIKEYs is in

and so is mine !!!

Yeah baby ... this is fun

CRRIKEY today built a CLUTCH STOP BLOCK and we found a way to override the module, needing the pedal to go to the floor to start.

So he has about a 1.5 inch block / stop with a very fast clutch movement and ... can still start the car

Huuuuh ....they said it couldn't be done

Nice work on the clutch override!

Did you install an ATB differential while doing the clutch?

Let us know your right foot impressions(clutch kit/flywheel/diff) after you get your clutch bedded in!

We both did UUC 12.25 flywheel, 4 puck ceramic disc and OBX LSD.

Still need to break in the clutch, but already ...man that thing hooks up.

The LSD wont show itself till VEGAS on the track
The 600 mile drive will be the break in

clutches and Lsd worked great in Vegas. I pulles a 4th in the Solo 1

heres a few random pics of when i put it all together

people were saying that you need a ball joint press for this, butttttttt
a brass hammer with a few lite taps worked amazingly

then i made my own press with a bottle jack and some random square tubing i had lying around

pulled the tranny apart

the obx had some iffy issues but its all good

heres one not car related but my dog... yeah im random like that

Both CRRIKEY and I did the flywheel / clutch / LSD...
I really like it (a bit "grabby") but when agressive or on the track ... WOW

When you shift and let the clutch out it PULLS and the flywheel helps build the revs FAST...Maybe not a lot of LSD on the track with good tires ...but sure it was working in the tight and off camber stuff...Can't wait to use the LSD at the next auto-x

One big thing I noticed is increased engine / trans breaking... when you downshift and let the clutch out it has NO slip.

Thanks for the pics CRRIKEY. How do you and your dad like the powerflex front control arm bushings? I just ordered them and will install them when I do my clutch/lsd swap. Is the stock bushing OD 3"? Thanks!

CRRIKEY did the Power Flex. I did the Alta PSRS adjustable.

His OEM bushing were GONE ...came out in 2 parts !
Mine wew a bit cracked ..I do "feel" the road and stering is precise and responsive. If you are there with the sub frame down and have 50 /60 K miles it is a good idea to changge them and why not go for something better than OEM if you may use them
I saw someone with multi position bushings (If you want the caster or "anti lift")..If any thing the PSRS may be a bit extreme for street and they do require some attention (cleaning and lube) now and then.

We need a press... so Crrikey made one in about 5 min ...
Not the fancyest... but it worked kike a charm.
I did freeze the PSRS and heat the carrier to assist install.

Sweet looking press COR BLMY! Yeah I just opted for the same bushings as CRRIKEY. I figured they'd be more durable/stiffer than stock. Did you offset your Alta PSRS to gain more castor?

Yes ... I did a 3/4 almost 7/8 spin on the psrs so I did gain camber (about -1.2) and the anti lift benifit

actually the psrs adds CASTER. and or you dont loose camber when the suspension is compressed (mostly during turning)

The Camber stays about the same I am at -2.6 camber
cant measure the difference whith the install

Caster was 4.6 before the install and I think I have added about .5 to that

I didn't have an alignment yet

The PSRS and the increased caster will maintain the camber and let the system maintain that in compression

about 10 ... OK 12 hours total.

Please note my son and I arn't afraid to twist a wrench or get deep into things.

We have built 4 wheelers with dual transfer cases and done a lot of fab work.

It reall isn't difficult ... if you go step by step .

some of the clips and fastners ... are a PITA ...untill you know the trick to detach or remove.

you will also need a good assortment of offset wrenches and extensions and swivels
