Anyone heard anything about this non-piggy back ECU option for the 2007 R56 Cooper S? Looks Like fun

I saw that on their site.....no real info though.

 

In my R53 I was first using a Shark, then a UniChip and lastly the Madness re flash.
The shark and unichip were not impresive ... BUT when I plugged in the new Madness it was GREAT !
If anyone can do it these ate the guys to be able to do it right

 

I guess i'll be waiting...Alta and UniChip might have some stiff competition ahead of them Gotta see what each tuner has up there sleeve....

I like the idea of a piggy back a little better so I can take it off at autocross and not have to run in SM.

The mapping previously supplied to Uni-Chip dealers by UniChip US is LESS than desirable. I mean no criticism to the staff there, but the mapping blew. Jeff and I have been able to make FAR better results, by just taking the time to do it right. SO for clients considering the ALTA PnP ECU for the R53 or R56, they should not use previous results from other dealers as a benchmark for the results to be gained by going with us.

Glad you are happy with what you have now regardless.
