Mods from Japan?

As of right now, I'm in Japan. About 45 mins south of Tokyo. I'll be here until 5 November. Is there any super neato keen Mini stuff here that I should be sure to grab before heading to the states? Any info on potentially 'japan-unique' mods would be appreciated.

Thanks for the links. I remember the second thread from a while ago, and I was far from impressed. Most of the parts seemed fairly useless and overpriced, based on my humble opinion of course.

heh heh. What are you doing in Japan? Ive been in Japan for about a month now. I have researched a few places, but havnt the slightest idea how to get to em. they might be far from Tokyo. At anyrate, my univeristy has a break next week so im planing to go searching for what ive found. im not even sure where the printouts went, my room is a dump...
well, if you want a travel buddy or someone who knows Tokyo/Japanese, just pm me or something.

I'm in the Navy, and our boat has a strict liberty policy requiring 3 people to go out at a time, together, and they must arrive back together. I don't think I could find 3 people to do Mini stuff with me all day, unless it was just to pick up a part or something. Thanks for the offer tho!

The Navy eh? That's really cool. If I wasn't so interested in Japan/Japanese...uh, things... or in college, I'd probably be in the Navy or Airforce right now.

I know these are in Hong Kong http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=016 kinda pricey to get here, but you might be able to get some stuff from there to Tokyo cheap if you're gonna be there for a bit. Makes me wish I had a MINI when I was in, coulda swooped on some awesome stuff in Italy, (sigh).

I like my rims and my miltek exhaust... I'll probably hold off until I get to Hong Kong in a few months.

Love the Engrish on the Arqray site.

"There are confidence and technology equal to or more than 30" is their logo.

I would love carbon fiber parts with that kind of confidence and technology! None of the stuff available here surpasses 27!
