anyone with a shark injector b.c canada ?

i was thinking instead of buying the shark injector if it was possible to pay to have someone do the ecu upgrade for me . i live on vancouver island and have done my own cold air intake / 15% pully / one ball mod. i think this would be the next step to modify the mcs. in other words im to cheap to go out and buy my own

A Shark Injector that's been used to program another MCS will not work on your MCS. Once it's been used, it codes itself to the ID of the particular ECU that it's first used on and won't work with any others.

Let the number of responses to this thread be your answer to the Shark product (you're not going to get a lot). They reportedly make nice products for BMW's...Good luck with your MCS and welcome to NAM

From: Vancouver, BC, Canada
I had the Shark 93 in 2004 and I live in BC, Canada. MCS ran smoother and felt slightly more responsive. I am not sure about the advertised HP gain but maybe only 4-5 HP. Rev limit > 200 & it removed the top speed limiter (haven't run all out yet).
There wasn't many ECU upgrade choices way back then but knowing more information now, custom tune is the way to go to tailor your mods. My next one will be a header + hi-flow cat.
