Please consider also the Ferodo DS2500,

Not much experience with the Hawk or axxis

What are your objectives?

Street performance? Track? AutoX? Canyon Carving? Daily Driver?

Willing to sacrifice some bite to have low dust for easy cleaning? Or want maximum bite, regardless of dust? OK with a little noise? Or OK to give up a little performance for no noise?

All are factors which can drive proper pad selection. OEM pads provide good performance in street conditions and low noise, but at the expense of LOTS of BLACK dust.

Personally, I like the Hawk Ceramics - good street performance, low fade for aggressive twisty road driving, no noise for me, and very low dust. But if I tracked the car I'd want something different probably.

I had the Ferodos on my fronts and they squealed like crazy and dusted all over the place. They were GREAT on the track, but not for everyday driving...unless ya like that stuff.

I switched them out for the Hawk HPS pads, and couldn't be happier. They dust a little, but NOTHING like the Ferodos. AND...NO NOISE. They grip almost as well as the Ferodos on the track, too.

So, here's a BIG +1 for Hawk HPS!

My MC is daily driven, that's why I'm considering the axxis ceramic
