Is "bling" a function?
I'm thinking more of Randy's mule diffuser, as far as going a long way fwd, a much lower ramp rate, smoother and rounder corners, and "blended in the bumper" exit lines(for stealth) and looks, fairing over fully drooped control arms is a must, and as I said before center tunnel a la Ferrari, not only for exhaust tip but also for scavenging exhaust heat. Does that makes sense?

Thank Sid for the link. Woo, me likes the R56 Works challenge diffuser, too bad there is no pics of the under side.

I like where your going with the diffuser. From the way you explain it I have an image in my head, now I need to see that image in my driveway. Make it happen.

Hey, here is a new one for the list and a much easier one than a diffuser...
Carbon Fiber "Joey" Mod. If you do it I want a free set for suggesting it.

yep! got side traked on a project, in october, that I was hoping to be done in the winter, and gess what? It's still kicking my arss and we are one week away from Sebring . Got a lot more involved that i would have imagined, as usual . It's just delaying my sunroof delete that I wanted for my next Dragon run in October . Nothing more on diffuser, Sid? Can you beleive Jan is doing a tune in Sarasota FL. and I can't make it because I will be ( only) 30 miles away for the St Petersburg race

hire someone to bring your car over to him?? It will be worth it. I'll be in Miami and Tampa from the 25th through the 27th...if I can help, let me know. Seriously...you don't even have to make me any cool CF stuff

So, what was this project? Can you tell us or are you going to keep it a secret until it is finished?

PGT, I got this phobia , I have to be involve with any thing related to my car. My last tune, Bart took my car there, and I still don't feel 100 % confi. whith it . the car run very well, no problemes at all, but I wasn't there! I didn't talk to the tuner, didn't ask questions, didn't d debate pros and cons, etc, and it feels like a canned tune to me. Just this gut thing . Don't know if you can relate to that. Plus I would like to meet Jan !

Chris, it' a secret until Bart lets the cat out of the bag . Hint: It involve carbon, electric motors, glass, and a lot of other things I didn't know sh.. about.

Yes, yes I can. I had talked with Jan and traded emails on the phone with him, so when it came time to tune, I let him work his magic without asking questions. I didn't want to interrupt him and cause things to get screwed up (plus, dyno days are jam-packed....every conversation slows the process unless you chat during the downtime like when the ECU is being uploaded, but you know this already )

We met up for beers the night before the Helix event....we were in separate hotels and met half way, near Independence Hall. We walked around looking for a bar....almost hit a hotel bar, then saw Irish flags over a little doorway and knew we could fine a pint

Good luck in the race. I'll be going with a bunch of my SAE buddies and camping out from Friday to Sunday. Can't wait to get out of our shop and see some real racing . Then finish our Formula car by the end of the month .
