To me, that looks like dried mud. With all the electronics in a MINI, you might want to steer clear of one that's been submerged. Except for Nigel Powers' Cooper S, of course, but that one was specially mod'd. Even removed the scoop!

Look's like it was the victim of a "Malachi Crunch". At least the damage is "easy", or "esay", er.... whatever that means...

Actually so far I think it is a good deal. It looks like a soft roll over some mud to me. If someone wanted to race a Mini, I'd say this is a great candidate. Or I suppose they could fix it, not sure of salvage title laws in Washington.
I work for a salvage pool company. So far our company has only had one Mini. Same as this one but hit in the ***, with a little damage to the front. It went for $8300 and will be branded with a salvage title for life (supposedly). :smile:
