Yet another exhaust thread

First off, yes I used the search function. Hundreds of threads. Difficult to wade thru.
OK, I currently have the one-ball (Minspeed pipe/ Sport tips). Sounds good, but I am ready to step up to a complete, engineered system.
Cost is definitely a factor (gotta keep the wifey happy).
TCsportline is out due to poor engineering/ fitment issues.
Ireland is close behind TC in the above issues, from what I've been able to find.
Invidia is looking like a front-runner. In looking around, I notice that there are 2 Invidia systems available: N1 and G200. Most of what I've read here deals with the N1. Anyone running the G200? Thoughts, opinions?
Also, any suggestions for a good source for the Invidias? Doesn't seem like any of our NAM vendors carry it (if you do, my apologies for overlooking it)
Magnaflow is the next most likely choice, but that cost thing keeps creeping in there. I really would like to keep this in the under-$600 range for parts.
Other brand options within the cost range also greatly appreciated.

A Magnaflow is much louder than a one-ball. Is that what you want?

I have a Magnaflow, the original 1st generation one, and I have heard one ball. All I can say is that the Magnaflow is not much louder.

This misconception about Magnaflow being "too loud" or louder than say, Boral, Miltek or others has got to stop.

I have the Invidia N1 and am very impressed with the quality and fitment. It sounds great but not too loud. Very easy to install. Took most of my time getting the old system out. The Invidia is 4 pieces so it is easy to handle. I also like the fact that there are no slip fitments, it is all nice thick flanged connections. I purchased mine from JSC Speed. The tips lined up perfectly.

The new kid on the block seems to be made by Volt. I've seen it advertised for $375 plus shipping. There's a thread around here somewhere with a sound clip. If I were in your shoes, it would be near the top of my list.

I went with the Invidia N1 and it is hands down the best decision ive made yet for my mini. I went to hear other exhausts and they just werent up to par with the invidia. I also ordered mine through JSCspeed, the fitting and installing is so simple and easy. I highly recommend the Invidia system, you wont regret it.

I know from my review the TCSportline would sound to be out, but you should consider it if you know someone who could give you a good deal on the installation, or you have the tools to do it yourself. It sounds awesome and the power is definitely there in the mid-high revs. Yeah, the fitting is downright terrible, but thats what a budget exhaust buys you. The overall engineering, from a performance standpoint, is great in terms of low restriction (full 2.5'', not tapered to a lower diameter) and sound.

I'm not trying to sell it to you, but if you have the proper resources it IS a great buy.
