The only thing I can think of is your wallet will be lighter, so that could help your power to weight ratio!

I had the Dinan tb in my otherwise stock JCW (similar to what your mods are) and it was horrible for driveability. DON'T DO IT. At any part throttle operation - moderate acceleration or steady state driving - the car felt slightly jerky, like it wasn't sure how much gas the engine wanted. I swapped back to stock and the problems went away.

Dinan may have their programming and other mods designed to work well with their larger tb, so if you have a full Dinan modded car it may all work well together, but I wouldn't add the tb to your otherwise modded car.

Looking at your mods, IMHO, a performance head is your next logical step to more power if you're looking for a significant gain.

Thanks guys, and im not getting the TB,as for the head ,Well i used to have a big valve ported head with a nice cam but unfortunatly the head has gone and so to has the cam.I now miss that power big time and will be getting them again by the end of the year. You realy have to work the car to get the similar power without my cam and that lovely head.Cant wait till i get another. Just need a little more green.

you say it was jerky. Yah you had to do the software update with the dinan software to fix it O_o.
