Out on the road, I'm pretty legal as long as I keep it under 3psi and could cruise right next to a cop without getting unwanted attention...get up on the revs and full boost and !!! Yeah...She's LOUD!!! I know it when I can't hear the Harley next to me...

Here's the kicker:
EGT Milltek-----idle/WOT---410C/795C

EGT RMW------idle/WOT---275C/585C

Running coooool....

Now we'll see if this passes the wife test...[/quote]

Jan stopped by my office today before flying to see you. I'm next to the airport.

Be careful when you pick him up at the airport. Between his glowing white legs sticking out of his shorts and the noise coming from your car you guys are going to attract allot of attention.

When we had the 3" on my car I think I got permanent hearing damage . My wife wouldn't drive in the car. The new one passed her test just fine.

The new Magnaflow designed to work with Jan's header. I love the way it sounds. You need one .

I've already got one, (my wife's living with it)and it is still loud. You cant hear the supercharger spool up anymore. It has a real nice rumble sound at idle.

MS- I found a sound clip for Miltek's catback. It sounds realy nice. I run a Magnaflow which iis very similar to Envidia and Borrla.

Kind of surprised that there is a general thought that the Magna sounds loud. When listening to both the Envidia and Borla they sound very much like mine and the video clips sounds I fond on youtube.

Loudest exhaust eh? I might be a challenge for ya. And that's a nice picture, it kinda reminds me of something...

I hope Gary did a good job for you. He did an entire cat back for me and I'm not too pleased with how it turned out.

I ended up having an exhaust leak where he burned 2 holes in the pipe, he under-quoted me by about $150, and my exhaust tips are crooked and have surface rust. It also seemed to take forever, I was there for like 5 hours cause he had so much trouble getting anything to fit.

I originally wanted a muffler and resonator in there while going with an Alta style routing and I wanted 3" tips. He ended up not having a single muffler that would fit and the tips didn't either. He ended up putting in 2 resonators and making his own custom tips with a custom collector.

I was really surprised by the whole situation too, cause I have never heard anything bad about his work. I talked to a few people who knew him and the only thing they could think of was that he was so busy with autorama (which is around when I had it done).

I'd take it back and ask him to fix it for you...I'm sure he would bend over backwards to get it right for you if he knew you aren't happy...
