It's interesting you're going to 440. I ended up going from m7 400 back to JCW 380. But I only have the Cosworth head.

Does Jan recommend going to 440 for more power, or are you doing it on your own for a safer operating area?

440cc injectors aren't a bad idea when you're near or above 300 net crank HP. Most supercharged R53's that are putting low 200's at the wheel are nearby that 300 net cHP figure, it's just too bad that blower sucks up so much power!

Anybody want to buy my JCW 380cc injectors? Used for less then 500 miles

I hate that power robbing Eaton. Stupid blower.

That is special for sure. But I'm wondering what mods did you have if any when you pulled 196?

Man that header is beautiful, it was like artwork when I saw it at the dragon! Good luck Sid! Car should be a monster! (not that it already isn't!)

true, getting enough parts together to keep up with the orders is hard enough. It's not like you build those collectors in a day.

With 12.5psi at the time she pulled 196whp, the mods were:

1-Webb CH
2-M7 AGS
3-Miltek header with cat
4-Modified Borla Race cat back
5-Single stage WAI
6-15% pulley + 2% crank
7-Modified M7 DFIC (Dr. Phil's external core vanes)
8-Free boost leak

The boost leak will be hunted down and shot...In the future, I will be using the following mods:

1-RMW +2 big valve ported CH (recently installed)
2-DDMWorks CAI
3-RMW header -cat
4-Modified Borla Race
5-Progressive WAI
6-RMW "Killer Cantalope" SC
7-Modified M7 DFIC

I speculate to add that you may have eliminated the boost leak from the simple change of going from the AGS to the DDMWorks CAI; a leak, however small between the supercharger tube and the TB makes the car 'hunt' at idle, and lose power on the dyno, as you have seen. Usually, if the leak isn't at an intercooler boot, then it's probably somewhere near that green seal at the supercharger pipe.

I'm sure once you get all the new stuff on there you will have no boost problems and it will move like the devil on fire!

Cheers,

H

Contrats on the new header. It's almost too perdy to put on the car! But you're whole car is mighty perdy so it all fits!

Just wondering, are you still running the stock clutch? If so any plans for upgrade, if so to what?

Thanks!

PS. Look forward to your big numbers! I'm sure with all that stuff you're going to be pulling some big ones!

excuse me for the ignorant question but what exactly are your mods #1 (webb CH) and #5 (single stage WAI) I'm not clear on the abbreviation and the mods.

It's a shame autoblog didn't get any pictures of the new header up on their front page along with the rest of the MSFITOY...

http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/19/a...odds-and-ends/

I saw the gold rotor hubs and thought hmm this is familiar. Congrats!
