NGK... Denso doesn't really support the MINI but people run the plugs anyway. I run one range colder due to my mods (15% pulley) although stock plugs are fine as well.

I will say that there is little to no difference with the new plugs...

You may not feel a difference with colder plugs, but they are transferring heat quicker than the stock plugs.

So what you are saying is: For a stock MCS the Iridium plugs would run cooler? Which is a positive thing so i guess getting them for a Stock MCS would be. A. They will help the engine perform better. Or B. They are nice to have but really do not do anything but make you wallet smaller (For a stock MCS)

No, that's not what i'm saying.
For a stock MCS, just use the factory plugs-BKR6EQUP
I've seen a lot of threads on here with plugs getting blown out of the head, and they have all been a non-factory plug.

The reason we run a plug that is one step colder(including BMW/MINI on the JCW cars) is because the smaller pulley on the supercharger spins it faster, creating more heat in the intake charge. The colder plugs help to keep combustion chamber temps from getting too hot.

Denso IK20s for the stock and then I put in Denso IK22s when I added the pulley...
