And therein lies the problem. Money.
I'm hoping there's a relatively inexpensive solution.

The tips are rivetted on. Worse case you might need a means to adapt to new tips. Check with a good exhaust shop. Good luck!

There is. Buy the Skunk-2 version. Same as the Invidia, with ordinary SS tips.

Good point. Where is the Skunk 2 available from? and for how much? Best I've found is ~$750. My Invidia was $660+shipping. $100 for tips and it's a wash.

I'm enjoying my Invidia as-is so I'm all set.

I know. I thought that would be my best option until I found out that Skunk2 don't make an exhaust for the 05/06 model years, at least I couldn't find one. I understand the change from the 02/04 model year is that the exhaust hanger positions changed. If anyone has fitted a Skunk2 to an 05/06 model then I'd be interested to know how it went on.

Mine's an '05. I just turned the inner hanger 90 deg, using only the one bolt on the hanger. The exhaust is on there solid, though, no rattles, and you can hardly move it by hand. No other issues installing it.

Most catbacks see a gain between 7-9 hp the most depending on other mods. also your personal info says that this was your 5th post however you say it was your 1st. Just noticed it.
