SCDA HPDE Schedule
What year is that off of?
Eddie, your WGI video shows some very good skills for your experience level. You have some good lines in many turns and I really like your steering inputs - particularly the tightening up to the apex which works very well on WGI's fast sweeping turns. The resulting lateral weight transfer seems very smooth and progressive.
Hope you will be back on track someday.

Absolutely street tires squeal more but if you watch your video, you’re late in a couple of turns and you’re forced to turn the wheel harder to make the turn. By doing so, you can hear the tire’s squealing with the even more so turning of the steering wheel.
Anyway, no disrespect meant at all... trying to help.

Thanks guys, for the input - both
Some turns felt good, others felt "rough". I suppose on the "good" turns I was doing ok. The ones that felt rough need work. Slinger pointed out my little steering corrections that I was making in a turn at LRP. He and I worked on a correction for that turn. I didn't realize the subtlies. Probably should go over old video before going out again and work on those fine point.
What's that saying about what you don't know can't hurt you?
Just glad you made it home ok

S-driver, I am amazed with the pictures you posted; that you made it all the way back to CT.
Veggi, gkp, et al. I will be missing driving with all of you guys next year. Starting the middle of next week, i Will be out till the end of the year on more travels but will get a list together of my track stuff before I leave.
NASA NE has released a tentative schedule for next year already. Kind of like hearing Christmas music in the stores before Thanksgiving. Their Lime Rock dates are TBD, but the rest are pinned down. I'm looking at WGI in late September again and Lime Rock depending on the specific days they end up with in March, May and September.
No, it's not a bad thing at all. I like to celebrate my birthday on the track without any extraneous party crap. It would be better if SCDA would get that weekend every year, but for some reason NASA seems to have dibs on it.
Back at ya. Hmmmm, 40th anniversary coming up, wife loves HI...
All friends, vv, s-driver, gkp, eddie, mpgs, claymore, etc come on by. You can count on free lodging in hnl. Just tell me early.
I need to have some addiction and my new one is travel.

Happy holidays you track junkies.
I bet if you had stopped, the guy at the gate would have known you, and you would have run into at least 5 track buddies in the paddock. Happy holidays to you too, and in case you didn't get the email, www.trackmasters.com has their 2012 schedule set already. See you at the Glen!
