She really is a gas...

I'll be under the hood, and she'll come out and pick up a wrench or screwdriver, and tell her mom that "we're working on the Mini!" It's the cutest thing ever! Not only that, but she'll see I'm not wearing gloves, and go to the nitrile glove box and say "You need gloves to go to work!" she gets very insistant!

Very cute Matt. Yeah, 2 years and 5 months--that's a good age. My son is just shy of 3 years by 2 weeks now--and he's in the WHY DADDY stage. LOL.

Hope you don't mind I add a few pix of my own son when he was two.

I wish I knew how to Clay when I was that young. I'm 18 now and I still can't do it right!

Here's how that worked out for me.

Alas, now my kids are allowed to RIDE in my car, but otherwise they do NOT touch it... it makes me sad. But too many bad memories...

Blimey, that story is awesome (awful, but really really funny). I think I would have lost it.

I see the darling Alison is still darling. It's so important for dads and daughters to bond like that.

Since I'm at home

pretty much all the time, to say she's a daddy's girl is a bit of an understatement. Sometimes I even feel bad for my wife, when the thousandth "No! Daddy help. Not Mommy" comes out of her lips.

But she to is in the "Why" stage. We've reverted to "because I said so" earlier than most, I think....

She doesn't understand sharp things are bad for paint, but we're working on it.

Aaaaw, next you can wrap the new baby in a monster fluffy, and have Allison move the baby back & forth!

Though, if it's the color of Slick, call the ped. Fast.

Hmmm.
