Question about Quick Detailer/Detailing Sprays
Question about Quick Detailer/Detailing Sprays
Sorry if this has been answered here before but, I'm looking to find out if using Detailing Sprays will leave residue on the plastic parts? If so, is it as difficult to remove as regular wax? I'm planning on using clay soon and want to know how careful I need to be. Thanks.

it does leave a protectant more of a moisturizer but it does not turn
the trims white (rather give it a nice rich look) and easy to remove
even diluted soapy water will work.
for QD, Griot's speedshine is my favorite...but we all knew that.

In the true definition of a Quick Detail spray, it should not stain trim. I've used a gazillion Quick Detail sprays and have yet to see one stain. I wouldn't say it is impossible though just because I don't know if some guy has concocted something in his bathtub and then labeled as a Quick Detail spray.
Maybe that one would stain.
Typically though, a Quick Detail spray will not stain trim. As Kenchan mentioned, most will actually give them a little appearance boost.
I can specifically say that none of the Quick Detail sprays that we sell stain trim for sure.
(Prima Slick, One Grand...)

odd request
Yeah, I use griot's speedshine. excellent product, really mild, wipes right off windows even when you overspray. Either that or Prima's I would use. My griot's I buy in gallon bulk for a decently lowerish price. I use it a lot though and apply it liberally. slick probably does more but I want mine to do the least possible as I like the natural carnauba look (1 out of like 500 people like me want colour depth vs wet gloss...)

I like that you already have a name picked out for it!

Great idea! It's actually something in the works... although still in the early stages. We agree that it would be nice to have QD variations. Different people like different things so we'd like to be able to accommodate. ... For me, it depends on my mood!

wet 'n wild?
rough rider?
hm. would appeal to another crowd as well.
For her pleasure!
Yeah, one day I will move to gloss, but it would be good to have like two sets of products. one for people who like warm carnauba look, and the other line for people that want ultra gloss.
soon i will have to go ultra gloss unless Klasse twins +p21s shows depth?
