Anyone out there use the Zymol carnuba's that you apply by hand? I love Epic, but want a Carnuba for a "garage only car" I will be working on soon. I know that a tub of Glasur retails $95.00 a pop, but is it worth it?
Plus I really want to apply a wax with my bare hands.

A few years ago, my dad bought a tin of Zymol that was "specially formulated" for his car. This is the wax: http://www.autoanything.com/car-care/69A2231A0A0.aspx
He used it once and decided it was too hard to remove by hand and shelved it for two years. When I got into detailing I gave it a shot, applied it with my hands, and let it sit. It is kind of fun applying it, and it smells good too! It wasn't too hard to buff off, but I am not sure that it gives a much better look than Epic does.
Anyways, so yes...I have a tin of Glassur sitting in my garage. But honestly, if I have the choice between Epic and Zymol, I usually end up reaching for the Epic.
If you are looking for an affordable Carnauba wax, give P21s a try! Great stuff

MiniMaybee promised me a tub of P21S, as long as I make the trek out to Copper. I heard from CU-Boulder today and they are asking for more grades and whatnot (which should help, I killed it last semester
,) so hopefully I will make it out there and stay out there

You might want to look at their other glazes depending upon the color of the car and type of paint.
Yeah, just like there is shampoo specially formulated for blondes and brunettes.

Did you know that the word gullible is not found in the dictionary!

I'm not going to go quote all the different zymol formulations as they are easy enuff for you to go look up yourself but there are many (e.g., for Jags, for Japanese paints, etc.)
"Glasur TM Glasur Glaze is specially formulated to protect and enhance this rock hard paint finish of German fame. Developed in cooperation with the Porsche Club of America, and critically tested at Porsche Club Concours worldwide. Glasur Glaze, with 56% Brazilian Yellow Carnauba, provides the distinction of image and jetness of colour found in the original paintwork from the Porsche Factory "
Haha. Well, it does have an insane amount of #1 Carnauba, but I could never, ever, ever stomach that price. I don't care if when they refill it they include a bar of gold with it. It's just too damn expensive.
I wonder who pays shipping when you refill it? I wonder if anyone has even ever refilled it?
Still fun to think about.
