The Weather in Denver

Hi folks, Nick here. Heather is still in Ithica with her family.

I wanted to let you know that we are getting hit with another nasty storm. Right now they are telling us to expect another 12-18 inches in town. Add that to the stuff left over from last week, and things are going to get messy.

I am going to spend today packing orders. They should get picked up, but they may get stuck at the airport. Those airport guys seem to think moving people is more important than moving car care stuff. Obviously they are not members of the OCD crew.

Anyway, I apologize for any delays you might experience. Our hands are sorta tied here. If it keeps coming down like it is, I may end up curling up under a blanket of Monster Fluffies and spending the night.

It is so nice of you to let everybody know about the possible delay. I love companies who provide good service and try to support them with my dollars.

I placed an order on the 19th, and it arrived the day after Christmas, sooner than I expected. I'm very happy with everything I got, and thanks for my beeyootiful t-shirt

Stay warm!

Looks like a loss of Octane points no that one Bob.

On another note, Its nice to know they do have enough to make blankets and bath towels. Matt will be happy.

Hi all!

*Heather* here (asteriks in place for Kenchan's attention ).

Yes, I'm still with family in upstate New York. I was supposed to fly home today but they cancelled my flight already due to the snow storm so I'm stuck "not working" for another couple of days... I will return on Sunday to help Nick again. Poor Nick is running the operation by himself! I'm not too worried though- he's probably cozy under that pile of Monster Fluffies with all that snow out there right now!

I finally have a break right now from being an auntie, daughter, etc and thought I'd stop by NAM to say hi! I'll do my best to reply to PMs and posts with questions while I have a few minutes. I'll also try to check back again tomorrow.

Sorry if some of you have been waiting for my reply for awhile now. This has been the first second I've had to visit NAM. But here I am now! It's nice to be back... you guys are already cracking me up with your silly antics and comments!

-Heather

Nobody in their right mind "hopes" to get out of Denver!

I could use help with the shoveling if you are bored.

My daughter is hoping to get into Denver lol She has to fly to Canada and her flight routes her through Denver. $1300 to change the ticket so she's sitting on it hoping that they have the airport open by then. The ironic thing is she chose a route through Denver (this being done over a month ago) because she thought there was less chance of getting snowed in than in Chicago....

Best of luck...it may sound terrible but with all this warm weather and lack of snow in the northeast I am very jealous of denver! Despite the (first) storm you guys still shipped out my DP order quickly. I guess if things stay this warm I might be able to make use of it before the spring.

Never mind - no shoveling help needed, it's all melted.

If you are on the correct side of the street that is. I don't think our backyard will ever be rid of snow. Perhaps by July.

Yeah, I left there on New Year's Eve and things were very manageable then. Mind you I did get my share of snow shovelling in while I was out there. Always nice to be able to visit the snow, do a little shovelling, and then run for home and the warmth.

All kidding aside, I do miss living in Colorado.

I wish we had snow here (sigh)... although I don't like to think about my car covered with slush!
