Looking for a good VINYL CLEANER!

I need a good performing vinyl cleaner that will get the ground in dirt out. My Boat has alot of vinyl and i need something that will do the job without giving me tennis elbow. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

For CLEANING, I generally use a good auto shampoo with the wash. If you need a spray on, wipe off type of thing, I would look at a 1/5 dilution of 303 Aerospace Cleaner with water... a great general cleaning solution that I keep handy in my bin-o-products. Be sure to give a coat of 303 Aerospace protectant afterwards (just a quick spray and wipe with a clean dry towel) to protect from UV and bring the finish back up to a nice shine. Vinyex or Meguiars #40 would also do nicely for the protectant.

You should be able to find the 303 products in a marine supply store. They also have a great fabric cleaner and protectant for all of your outdoor soft-goods.

i use vinylex to clean my car and some 3M product from the boat store to protect on my boat. goes on like lotion. about 10 bucks a bottle but after three years of boating fun it looks new. if your vinyl already has mildew on it from a cover your up a creek.

there is no miracle cleaner. if you don't have to use elbow grease to clean it more than likely your cleaner is damaging your surface to get to the dirt. kind of like spray on hose off wheel cleaner. that stuff ruins wheels and brake parts. they make everything look good but a year later your wheels and brake calipers are rusty.
