Why, oh why, did it rain today?

It's raining here, too, but apparently we need it so I can't complain.
In an effort to keep my MINI sparkly clean, I've become an expert at reading local weather and timing trips to the car wash, triangulating beween numerous weather services/radars. It's something of a game, you see. Once when it had been raining I remember going outside and calculating wind direction and temperature, angle of the sun, and cloud cover. When the time was right I headed to the car wash and was done washing and ready to motor just as the streets finished drying. It was a thing of beauty.
