Prima Hydro Seal Question

Are there any benefits of using Hydro Seal after every wash in conjunction with Hydro? Hydro Wash > Dry car > Hydro Seal using Hydro as a wet agent > toping it off with Prima Slick.

Hydro Seal claims to have 6+ months of durability. I'm not sure why you would be using HS so often. Personally I would Hydro Wash, Hydro Seal, then maintain with Hydro. I wouldn't top it off with Slick until the polymers were cured...i.e. until the next day. Slick has some cleaners in it that can negate some of the benefits of Hydro.

Thank you for your wisdom. I sent an email to Prima Care with the same question so I'll post their response as well.

Here is the email I got from Prima Care.

"Thanks for using Prima. We appreciate your support.
Yes, you can Hydro Seal as often as you like. It will actually layer quite well.
Your plan looks good. I would skip the Slick step. It will change the final appearance. Unless, of course, that is what you are after. There will be no durability benefit of a final wipe with Slick. If anything, you can final wipe with a light spray of Hydro. You can even you Hydro as a quick detailer going forward"

Hydro as a quick detailer. Interesting. I guess I misunderstood the use of Slick. I guess I will use it as a clay lube and for the exterior windows.

Hydro is fine as a quick detailer...consider it as a QD with protective qualities but it's not as slippery as Slick which has no protective qualities.

Slick has some cleaning ability, Hydro has less.

I use Hydro on door jambs and wheels as a cleaner and protectant.

Slick isn't a good clay lube...dilute it 50/50 with water..Slick tends to be too slippery as a lube when full strength. Now you have something like Glide.
