Hi guys, just gased up this morning and somehow there was leftover gas in the nozzle as I go to fill up and it ended up getting all over the plastic trim. I tried washing off but now there is some discoloration. Any advice on how to clean/restore?

I know there are plenty of "remove wax" threads, would those treatments work here?

Thanks,
Eric

Pre Wow to clean. Black Wow to restore.
ShowCarDetailing.com (Octaneguy) is a forum sponsor and has (heck, he invented) the goods.

Thansk for all the quick feedback--just put in an order for Black Wow. A little pricey but sounds like it is worth it.

It's pricey but will last a long time. It only takes pea sized amounts to cover pretty large areas.

I does look pricey until you use it. I have had my bottle from when it was introduced (I think about three years ago) and still have half a bottle.
I have joked that Richard developed a product that he will have very few resales because there is so much value in each bottle.
Buy it, you will see the value quickly.

I can confirm based on sales that most people that buy BW find it lasts way beyond their expectations. Chuck Maybee just bought another bottle of BW..he's had his since it was launched back in 2007 and just ran out at MINIS In The Mountains and he details more cars than his own, lol.

Of course that's why we came out with a 2oz bottle..lower the up front price and still give years of applications instead of 4 or 5 years for the larger bottle.

One forum member confirmed that on his truck, he's gotten well over 3 months of durability when applied using the methods I discuss and this was when no other product would last more than a day.

As with any product and infomercial..actual results may vary.

owner since buying a 2002 S off the truck

I use Zymol Vinyl

clean it with POR Marine Clean then treat it with Zymol

this process keeps my MINI skirts fine and kept my Miata top good for 12 years . . .
