Your favorite car vac?

I've looked all through this forum (love all the info!) and I haven't seen anyone say what their favorite car vac is.

I don't want to use something so clunky that it bumps the outside of the car as I clean, but a regular dust buster won't get in all the cracks.

So, what is your favorite?

Thanks!

I like the Dyson hand held. Only five minuets of run time on a charge, but its enough to get the job done.

I got the small Metro Vac and blow. It has great attachments to get into small places and the blower portion can remove water from the grill/door frames. Plus it's easy to carry. I have been very pleased with it's performance.

Wall mounted Shop Vac, has plenty of hose to reach anywhere in car and takes up no space. Also will never bump your MINI..

I have a Dyson, and a set of Craftsman car detailing attachments that I don't think they make anymore. They're teeny little things that get into every spot imaginable.

I have a set of those. Just saw some at a Sears around here. They work great.

I use the purple Dyson (pet hair version). I pull all of my mats out and use the minni head with the rotating brush.

I have a Stinger, something like a ShopVac only not on wheels, as I have a very slopped Driveway.

Anybody know where I can get some of those things that keep your cords from getting stuck under the Tires??

I seem to remember seeing those things at automotive stores, like Rileys, Auto zone.

ShopVac 3.5 hang up wet-dry

I picked this ShopVac 3.5 hang up wet-dry vacuum up at Wal-Mart last month. Very convenient (20 foot hose), just hang up on the wall and for get about it.

I picked up a "mini" (haha - yes I'm a dork) shop vac at lunch. The wall mounting kind with a few attachments. I can't wait to try it out tonight.
And I'm drooling over craftsman detailing tools. I have a feeling I'll be taking the garage over from my husband!

Ken I can't find it on the Sear's website, but go to a Sear's tool/auto area, and you will find it in the shop-vac aisle.

I use a Rainbow.

I use the thin nozzle or the brush. I vac the carpet, every hard surface (except the windows), and I vac the headliner as well. The brush works well for everything but the carpet.

This vacuum can get rid of any smells, like if you took a drunk friend home, or someone who had been smoking, or take-out residual smells. It seems logical to me that scent particles dwell on any surface and into the fabrics. This vac can extract and trap those particles.

The brush attachment is also great for vacuuming the center console. I can get every speck of dust, the interior looks and smells brand new when I'm done. The water can be near black when finished. (good, meaning that junk is no longer in the car.)
