Here are a few more after pics. Keep in mind, This was a pure hand application and no polishing was involved. I still have lots of swirls but until I have a garage of my own, I wont be able to polish them out :( I am still very happy with the results though. Amigo fills in the swirls very well.

Looks Great I think I may wax my Car tomorrow my day off. Does anyone have any tips on how not to get wax on the black rocker panels and wheel trim?

Well if you black wow your trim before hand. any wax you do get on it comes off very easily. Thats how I do it.

I agree! You can technically get similar results with just about any plastic dressing or protectant. However, Black Wow will also last much longer than others and has a restorative effect as well.

In other words, if you're in a pinch and don't have Black Wow then definitely pre-treat your plastic with any plastic dressing or protectant; however, use Black Wow for all of its other great advantages if you're able!

minimonsterthunder- Your MINI looks great!!

It's an excellent example of how with some elbow grease (I'm sure it took you some hard work and time!) and a good product combo, you don't always need a polisher to achieve beautiful results.

In your photos I really see Amigo's cleansing and filling abilities most of all. Even when applied by hand, Amigo can really clean up paint and remove that dullness- as you can see.

How much time did you spend applying Amigo?

Nice work!

Thanks Heather!

I spent about an hour applying and wiping the amigo away and about an additional 45 minutes applying the epic. I was of course taking my time though and wasnt rushing. Defenitely hard work. The Amigo goes on smooth and comes off easily, but the epic is a little bit harder to move over the paint.

Like you said, you can really see amigos cleansing abilities. I should have taken some close up shots. On my rear hatch, I was having trouble removing all the dirt with clay that gets imbedded in the paint. The clay certainly made it smooth but on the white stripes you could see all these black dots that the clay just wouldn't pick up. As soon as I worked in some amigo, all that dirt dissapeared! the stripes on the back of my mini are spotless now.

Indeed, the more you work Amigo onto the paint, the more cleansing you get out of it- as you saw. And certainly you can work some areas in more need of TLC than others that much more and get the needed benefit.

Epic should move easily over the paint too but it can be a little more finicky in how you apply it. Here are some tips that should help: 1) Make sure you do not use any more than 2 oz of Epic for your entire MINI per application, 2) Use very light pressure, 3) Try various applicators... some people love using the Skinny App (primarily because you don't lose as much of the Epic in the app itself with the Skinny) while others prefer a standard foam applicator or other styles of microfiber applicators. These subtle changes should help Epic go on with less resistance.

Thanks for letting me know a little more about your process time... it's helpful to know what everyone experiences regarding time spent and results for each situation.

Again, great work!

-Heather

Yup that is a dent on the right door. ....Previous owner's fault. It did help me drive the price down when I bought it The dent is much less noticeable once after the epic treatment though...

And yes, darker colors like red really pop with the prima product line.
