Funny... I didn't read the thread topic closely and just opened and started looking at your pics. Thus, I didn't even realize right away that they were white wheels until I saw the clean shots!

Nice improvement for sure, Mark!

Unlike Heather, I did read the thread title first. But then when I saw the first couple of pics, I thought you made a mistake in the title until I saw the "after" pics. Excellent work !

Now... how in the WORLD did you get 90,000 miles out of your OEM brake pads ? What, they don't have stop signs or traffic lights out there in Missouri ?! :impatient

Nothing better

White wheels cannot be beat for style!

I, too, am partial to the MINI original "holies".

It is too late for me, as I have to remove my wheels so I can wash, scrub, & wax the insides of the wheels.

Sure, not many people see that part, but us OCD folks "know" it is shiny white! (I do the wheel wells, too, so the black & white contrast is maximized.)

Hats-off to all of us who stay committed to White Wheel in the Winter!

Well, Mark, I learned something by all this:

If you don't wash your white wheels, it's no biggie. They'll just look like alloys.

I hope MINI never does away with their 5-star wheels. With the way their brakes give off dust, those are SO much easier to clean than most wheels. Just five thin spokes, lots of room to get in between them to clean. Love them !

What is in NuFinish that acts as a sealant/protectant? They say it contains no wax.. I guess all synthetics of some kind?
