OctaneGuy's 2 Bucket Wash Video

I'm creating this thread to make searching for my MINI car washing video easier to find.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=0

You can find this video at Google Video and searching
ShowCarDetailing.com

A few notes about the video.

This video was made with Mike Phillips during the summer of 2006 when I still had my 2003 MINI Cooper. For those that didn't know--Mike Phillips is the host of the video with the artificial leg--that's not me, as one NAMer thought at MITM. LOL.

For more details and discussion of this video go here:

OG- are you going to do a revision where you use Hydro during the
wipe down process?

Thanks OG. Glad I saw this video when my car was only a few weeks old. I had no idea that I was so ignorant about car washing - it does make sense though. Like umberto said - anyone who hasn't seen the video thinks you've gone off the deep end. Who cares - my car will have a lot fewer car wash induced scratches.

yes! this is the video that showed me how to detail. It gives you the whole mindset about how to take care of a car and what, as a owner, you do to kill the finish normally before "detailing"

great video. stickied a MUST.

I thought the video was great. I knew a few of the tricks, but learned a few too. Are you thinking about doing anymore? I would learn a lot from a waxing/polishing or a convertible care video. Of course, it would cost me another fortune....
