I promise that I did do a search but the results didn't really give me that many recommendations. Just Griot's & Lexol. Also some talk of a new one coming from Prima... I'll keep looking.

I apprecaite your response, thank you Kenchan!

Zaino / Z-9 Spray Cleaner followed by Z-10 "Leather in a Bottle" conditioner.

Works for me...

Griot's regular stuff in a squeeze bottle is super excellent.

It really looks like this stuff that was from the '80's for my metal-head gear. However, it is less greasey feeling and moves around better. Awesome natural leather scent in it too.

i just recently bought a leather cleaner from turtle wax. it makes the leather look a bit new and not much residue. there IS a tiny bit tho.
does the griot's leave any residue? i was trying to stay away from the ones that have a lot of the 'greasy' feeling residue.

Can anyone speak to UV protection in any of these products? I'm worried about the black leather and the open sunroof . . .

I bought a bottle of Meg's leather cleaner and it seems ok. I did have some of the "wipes" that Megs sells but thought they sucked...they're too small and don't last.

Just my two cents.

If you are worried about UV, check out Aersopace 303. They have a leather cleaner, as well as other uv protection products. Lamin-X recommends their product for their film installations.

I am awaiting Detailer's Paradise's pending leather cleaner.

Giot's leather stuff stinks. I mean litetrally. Okay, I know I have a somewhat sensetive sniffer, but, man. That stuff stinks so much like leather, it smells fake. Reminds me of when I was in Soused Carolina and came across a "Flo" type waitress in a restaurant. Her accent was sooo sterotypic southern that we thought it had to be fake. (But, the stuff does do a good job).

I can recommend the Zaino Cleaner (Z-9) and their conditioner (Z-10). I use them both on the wife's Expedition seats. I have also tested the new Leather Luv(?) from Detailers Paradise and like it as a conditioner as well (less odorous than the Zaino conditioner and a little more sheen).

I've had good luck with Wilson's, and Lexol. But the real experts have to be Connolly and their Hide Cleaner/Conditioner. Connolly is known as the leather supplier for Jag, Rolls, Aston Martin ,Ferrari and others, they should know, I'd think. I had a Jag customer who bought an older car where the seats were so stiff they felt like metal, big cracks etc. He applied Connoly's to the seats every week for about 6 weeks, they were as soft as butter, and most of the cracks had swelled back full and you could't even find them. Good stuff! Spendy, but good.........

eh, hard to say. I have only tiny parts that are leather. Griot's leaves a tiny bit, but leather is animal hide and needs some good ol digested animal fat to make it happy in the end. It is high quality stuff. I have used 10+ types of leather cleaners, and by far this one is the best I have tried.
