Hydro & while you are there, grab a Monster Fluffy to wipe it off with so you won't create any more scratches
Hydro also works nicely on the exterior of your MINI as a kinda-sorta wax extender (as long as you do not use a carnauba based wax as your main wax). It is a wax as you dry product so you can spray it on after washing, while still wet, & then it waxes as you dry the MINI off. It's kinda like a quick detailer but easier.

Hydro is a spray on wax from Detailers Paradise:

Its a "spray as you dry" kinda wax, very easy on and very easy off. Great protection, gloss, and shine on your paint! Works great on windows too!

FWIW Fjork_Duf - The painted trim pieces of the dash simply pop out with a little tug. See this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=91311
As a result it was easy for me to remove the painted bits and use ScratchX to properly remove the swirls that had accumulated. I then followed that with some Amigo to hide any remaining swirls I failed to remove and the Epic to give it a nice glossy wax protection. I have since used Hydro to keep it looking swirl-free. Enjoy!

I thought we were discussing the dash. Anyway I would start with ScratchX, even if you can't remove the piece you wish to treat. Then seal it with the wax of your choice. ScratchX is not a wipe on - wipe off product; you will need to use plenty of elbow grease to remove swirls. Just rub it in vigorously until it gets hazy, then wipe off and check for progress. Re-appy if need be. Careful not to get any wax on your vinyl trim parts in case it stains. Tape may be of help to avoid waxing the bits you don't want waxed.
