Can I use Hydro on Zaino???
I wouldn't, only because it would be putting a layer of wax between Zaino coats that may interfere with the bonding of the Z-2. Best to clean off the Hydro with Z-PC, Alcohol/water mix, Amigo or Paintwork Cleanser. Why layer your Z-2 over something that may reduce the life of the application.
A better question is why you would want to put Zaino over Hydro. Z-2 will not give you a better shine than Hydro and Hydro will help increase the life of your Z-2 as well as boost surface protection.
So Zaino if you want (I now prefer Epic) and then use Hydro until you want to strip the Zaino and start again is my recommendation.

I put Hydro over Z-2 on a dry car on the way back from the Dragon (thanks, Heather!). I am amazed at how wet and deep the shine now looks. I have both Z-6 and Z-10, but I think this tops em both.
I don't know if this is related, but the car seems to have stayed awfully clean since it got Hydro'd.

MiniMaybee....I understand your points...but:
if Hydro is a wax, it would wear off in a month or so or I could remove it with a Dawn wash and then re-apply zaino.....but I didn't think Hydro was wax based, I figured it was a snythetic, like Epic, so was assuming I could put it on over Zaino ( I have half a bottle left)....perhaps Heather could chime in?

I think you may be getting caught-up in terminology. A wax may be either natural (Carnauba) or synthetic (Epic). So when I say wax it could mean either (although I don't use synthetic any more).
So yes, Hydro is a wax, but it does not last as long as Z-2 or Epic - weeks rather than months. So you would be right in assuming that Hydro would wear off after a period of time and not interfere with the bonding of additional coats of Z-2 or Z-5. However what that exact time is and whether it is uniform over the entire car would be my point.
If you are going to use Hydro then I would suggest sticking with it until you feel you need to replace the underlying Zaino system. Then you can remove everything and start fresh. I won't Epic over Hydro for the same reason even though they are probably more compatible being both Prima products. Also I see no reason to layer synthetic waxes after the initial application.
BTW - Dawn soap will not remove Z-2 or Epic. It may remove Hydro but I'm not sure. Dawn is used to remove any grease or oils but will not remove synthetic waxes with any great efficiency (test it on some cured Z-2 on you applicator and you'll believe me). Instead I use either vinegar (acid) or Alcohol diluted 50% with water to remove old synthetics.

I just prepped my MCS for a gazillion coats of Z-2 tomorrow and I usually do not use Z-2 again for a few months(I just start the whole process again). This time, I plan on using Hydro between washes, but what do I do with my Z-6??? Can I still use it for detailing during the middle of the week ???
Thanks!

Thanks!
Both Z-6 & Z-8 will work over Hydro. They are just QD fluid and in fact work fine over any synthetic wax. Prima's product of similar nature would be Slick.
Edit: Remember jaayou, if you are not using Z-FX limit your coats of Z-2 and/or Z-5 to 3 or less in 24 hours. Adding Z-FX will allow you to add up to 5 or 6. I also always used Z-6 between coats of Z-2 or Z-5 as recommended by Zaino.

Thanks for the info! Yes I use Z-FX, I usually get in about 5 to 6 coats in too.
