They are working on hotel info. The nice thing is, it is still a bit away so we can really plan!
I am sure there will be some info coming from Se7en Cities MINI when they get it.


We will also be planning to MINIvan down together since that is what MINIs/Minis do best!

 

When I was recently in VA Beach for a training course, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was nice, about a 1.5 mile drive to Checkered Flag MINI (awesome dealership, BTW! ), and it's in one of those new town center things that are going up all over the place, so there were *plenty* of places within stumbling distance to eat and drink. Off of the top of my head there was an Italian place, Ruths Chris, an Irish pub type place, Cali Pizza Kitchen, P. F. Chang's, Gordon Beirsh, and a bunch of other places.

Dunno how close this is to the Amphitheater though!

Hey guys,

My name's Chad and I'm the Event Coordinator for River City MINIs. I would like to invite any and all of you to stay in the Richmond area the night before and/or after the event. Apparently the Philly MINI club has expressed interest in coming down for this as well, and I plan on inviting them to stay in Richmond. If there's enough interest and enough people stay here, we could have a get-together/cruise-in here in Richmond at our favorite ice cream place the Saturday night before and then all caravan down to VA Beach on Sunday. We've got a great route from here to there. With you guys only being a few hours from VA Beach, I suspect there might not be many of you who would want to only come and hour and a half south and then spend the night, but I thought I'd put it out there! We could make this whole thing a fun weekend.

Let me know what you think!

Let us know some details as the time gets closer. I am sure we may have some folks making a weekend out of this since it is a little distance from us. Sounds like this could be a GREAT weekend!
