Come join us for our 4th rendition of this fabulous run
When: Sunday, April 22. We will meet at about 8 - 8:30ish AM for a prompt 9:00 AM departure time.
Where: We will gather at the McDonald's across the street from the Westfield Shopping Plaza in Annapolis, MD. Directions below.
Bring: A full tank of gas, an appetite, money for food ($20 should more than cover the meal), and your FRS or GMRS handheld radio (tuned to channel 7, subchannel 21)!
RSVP: on the Calendar. PM me if there are more than you attending so I can alert the restaurant
Event Fee: No fee for DCMM members. $5 fee per car for non-DCMM members. Cash or check can be brought to the event.

Questions? events@dcmetrominis.org or this thread!
ROUTE BREAKDOWN
Directions to McDonalds:
From Virginia and other areas around the DC Beltway: Make your way to Route 50 and head east towards Annapolis. Leave Route 50 at Exit 23. Keep to the right on the exit ramp to merge onto Route 450 / Defense Hwy. Continue straight through 2 lights (road becomes 178 / Generals Hwy after second light). McDonald's will be on your left. (It's across the street from the Westfield Shopping Plaza (aka Annapolis Mall) facing Border's.)
From points around Annapolis: Head west on Route 50. Leave Route 50 at exit 23B. At the end of the exit ramp, make a left at the light onto Route 450 / Defense Hwy. Go straight through the next light (road becomes 178 Generals Hwy.). McDonald's will be on your left. (It's across the street from the Westfield Shopping Plaza (aka Annapolis Mall) facing Border's.)
From other areas: Use your GPS or favorite online mapping program and head to address:
McDonald's
2130 Generals Hwy
Annapolis, MD 21401
(A quick note: If you look up this address on McDonald's website, it shows it at an incorrect location! But if you plug it into Google Maps, Mapquest, or something similar, it will plot it right and give you correct directions.)
For those of you who aren't familiar with this run. It is a GREAT design by Paul! and I am attempting to take his route and hopefully will have him there to run it!
It is a very nice run starting in Annapolis and ending up on the bay for lunch, and then back through twisties and great backroads.
Now, I haven't looked at the run yet to make maps for everyone...I will work on that today, so don't ask me questions. Just show up!
Last year we had so many people, we had to do this run in 3 groups! So lets get ready for MOTD and get to some twisties!

Lemme know if you want the route maps and directions I did last year when I ran the 3.5 version. I also have my GPS files but they will only work with Co-Pilot.
I'll miss this as I'll be in Atlanta for a wedding, and taking a detour through the Dragon to show it to the folks while going down.

Awesome! I missed this one last year (I think I was at my sister's wedding in Australia). I'm definitely in!
I might have to drive it in my <ahem> "other" car though, since there's a decent chance mine will still be undergoing auditory surgery.

Yup, I'm looking now. If I don't have them at work I'll dig them up when I get home.

I'll convert it to KML (Google Earth) if anyone is interested.
I'm in; route map please
I'll be attending. If someone could shoot me the route map that would be great.
How long does the run take (adding in food/ice cream stops)? I've got to motor down south to Newport News that same evening, so I'm trying to figure out an ETA down there after the run.

. This is a no-go for me.
