Sterling must have had that car sitting in the lot for almost a year.. I remember seeing it in the internet inventory long time ago.. Maybe they'll have better luck selling if they change out that intercooler cover... :P

IC cover and the wheels.
Also the title of this thread is rather misleading
Did you notice it's a JCW car? Listed HP though is still only 'S' 163. It has the JCW engine badge too. The wheels look strange, maybe just reflections from those wheels, but I don't see the JCW brakes on it, unless the calipers were repainted.

Maybe they put JCW bits and pieces on the car so they decided they wanted to badge it as a full JCW.
weird. i saw a friggin nice mini with red roof and red mirrors, with OZ ultraleggeras, and a BBK at sterling today. anyone wanna clame that one? it was either in for service or you work there.
The black gentleman that works in the MINI dealship owns the black MINI with the red roof--that one is definitely nicely done! The one posted in this thread was available for sale when I stopped by early last month and according to the dealer (the man I just mentioned), it is a JCW.

The man you are talking about is Fred Sweets, and yes, he owns Redtail.
Yup, Fred is AOK. He even comes to the Britain on the Green British car show in Alexandria in the spring, and brings his MINI too. Which is more than I can say for most of YOU!

Hey, if I wanted to be ostracized by an older generation, I would have bought an R56!

Now now, there's nothing wrong with the younger generation (of people, not MINIs) that couldn't be fixed by a touch more wisdom, experience, compassion, refinement, and style.
On the bright side there's some chance they could grow out of it.
