I actually have four GPSes. A Garmin NUVI 360 (setup for the MINI) Garmin Rino 530, Vcommand and Socket Bluetooth GPS. The NUVI has been great, and with the new MINI, it plugs into the stereo and plays MP3 music whilst navigating.

See, I TOLD you guys not to change your wheels back yet... this is DC... the weather fluctuates a LOT between seasons before it settles down. Early April for my tire change...

Yep - I'm in too, just RSVPed a short time ago! Looking forward to it! Me and my trusty Pirelli snow tires will be there regardless!

Four? wow.. which one do you use the Waypoint file with? I have the Nuvi 360 and my understanding is that it can't support waypoints.

On the commute home today, I saw about two to three inches of snow and some ice on the ground in the western half of Carroll County. In the southeast portion of the county, it was mostly rain today. There might be about a half inch of snow on the ground and it's currently snowing lightly with some rain and freezing rain mixed in. Shouldn't accumulate too much.

I think the roads will be still wet in mid-morning but shouldn't be slick. We'll all just have filthy boots !

See you all at Long Gate in the morning !!

If you're wearing boots on your feet while on the run, you deserve to have them get filthy !! Get your driving shoots out, man !!

Roads should be cleared. The plows are out there now working and the snow (and crap with it) should stop during the night. Too bad there won't be enough sun and traffic to dry them off for us.

My car is SPOTLESS right now. I drove the PW one today just to keep my CR one clean. (One of my co-workers comes up to me today ans says, "Dude, someone painted your car white). Doesn't look like it'll stay spotless though.

We will wait and see what happens in the AM. If it is like it is outside as of now in the AM, we will not be there. We shall see.

REMINDER: Don't forget your radios. Set them to 7/21. That is Channel 7, sub-channel 21. Hope to see you all there.

Well, the Vcommand is a prototype voice-activated GPS, it pretty much pesters you into telling it where you want to go and then harasses you the whole way there! (Sound familiar) So no waypoints. The Bluetooth gps is for my phones, no waypoints. I use them on the NUVI and RINO. Yes, the NUVI can use waypoints, they show up as Custom POIs or Favorites.

I also got the NUVI to act a little more like the OEM Garmin MINI is selling in the UK. Black MINI splash screen on boot up and an English lady telling you when to "Enter the roundabout"...

ps. hope the roads are clean enough, it would be great to see a bunch of MINIs out and about.
