FYI

I confirmed this morning, If you plan on doing the dyno thing you need to be there from the beginning. It's not just a show-up and run, it's a tech day. Well, at least for those of you who want to actually run your car on the dyno. If you just want to watch there's nothing stopping you from popping in late.

So if you planned on running your car on the dyno or going on the run you need to pick one or the other.

If that is the case, I'm out. Dyno can be done anytime.
I loveeeeee to drive and eat.

I don't know yet whether my wife will ride shotgun or if she will bring her MINI. I don't think she has decided yet.

You mean that you don't know if she will be co-piloting or taking her own. To ride shotgun is a term that shouldn't be used along side words like MINI and Motoring.

Okay, if co-piloting is what you want to call it. I never owned a shotgun and have no plans to aquire one.

1st - Yes, they are cutesie

2nd - They can be manly, typically needs something aftermarket to do this (stripes, roof graphic, decals, performance mods)

3rd - Co-pilot is the word used by MINIUSA for people seated in the front passenger seat

With the 'new' MINIs measuring 11.82feet, it would take 447 R56s (even more 'old' MINIs) Thats ALOT of MINIs.

And that's what I want... a LOT of MINIs !

You have to figure about 50 feet of distance between each one, too, for safe following distance.

Shotgun is a approved term and was documented in the round wheel brochure "MINI Motoring Games, The official Rulebook"

To quote "The first passenger to shout 'shotgun' stakes his or her indisputable claim to the front seat- the coveted 'shotgun' position. The car must be in plain view to all passengers for the call of 'Shotgun' to be legally binding. If two passengers shout out 'shotgun' simultaneously, the first to add a specific type of shotgun, I.E. "12-gauge" will be declared the winner.

Me thinks he who desires to lecture on 'Motoring' terminology must spend considerable time studying all Motoring literature, especially point of sale brochures.

So "Shotgun" is most definitely a approved, documented MINI Motoring word. Attached herewith is photographic evidence. So there. The judge finds in favor of JustJay. Court is hereby dismissed.

That's good, since I ride shotgun! Now I have an 'official' place to sit, since we don't have back seats!
